My Manic Jones

First time we met was 5 yrs ago ; wound up , random and this ridiculous ego….
I was one of the boys and that how we’d keep it so all I could do is admire you in secret .

Sometimes wish I could leave it ;Don’t know what to do or what to say and all of a sudden I just can’t stay… For more than 5 days …away… From you.

So now you can’t look at me for more than 5 mins. One Min a smile next min a frown and others I’m on top or you have me upside down. Just like these mins goes our moods and our paradise becomes a battle ground .

Some days I love you and others I love to hate you always fighting ; for you , with you or just to be with you.

 Love is not the enemy dear You need It ; get pissed or mad for a question or if I repeat it .

More you open up and even care secretly I realize the little boy I met 5 years ago is still in there. Go to sleep you’re in my arms and in my care …

Wake up angry ringing the alarm and all I do I stare , not because I’m confused or your just joking, but because like many men your lashing out , your heart was broken;

Her body was her Canvas : Intimate interview with Snooki3 bear Sutton

When most of us start to create a visual or type of stimulant for the soul we all agree we need a canvas. A blank space where we can fill our inner thoughts , dreams and things that make us who we are… ..

 

 

Well this is Liah aka Snooki3 Sutton and since she was 17 her canvas was her body , now living in Georgia perviously a “Queens Girl” she is trying to find her way to the top!

 I had a wonderful phone interview with this young aspiring tattoo model please … lets see what she said .

Dolly: So Miss Snooki3 where are you from?..

Snooki3: From the Westsideeee… south side shawty ! lol J/k  nah I’m actually originally from South side ,Jamaica Queens.

Dolly:Please tell my readers what is it you do and do so well !

Snooki3: Take in Ink !  I’m not a video model I have done some cameos but, I’m an aspiring tattoo model.

Dolly:When and how did you get started ?

Snooki3: I got started when I was 17 my mom took me to a tattoo party and from there I was stuck

Dolly:How many do you have ?..

Snooki3: I have no ideas but , its at least past 35  at this point lol

Dolly:What are your favorite tattoos and why ?..

Snooki3: I have to save my favorites are my sleeve and my Koi fish on my back. I say these two because the sleeve on my arm actually tells my story and my Koi because my two siblings are listed inside  “Hey Serai I have your name tattooed on me is that cool ” lol

Dolly:How would you describe your Tattoos what are your inspirations?

Snooki3: I describe them as very spontaneous , based on color and some times a song I even have some lyrics on me and my inspirations are things that happen …. I say most of all life!

Dolly: In our pervious question you stated that your tattoos are from life and tell your story …. what is your story?….

Snooki3: My story is one of  a little light-skinned girl from Jamaica Queens who loved dancing , being in and experiencing new things, one who is trying to make it and be better than I was yesterday.

Dolly:Who is your favorite Artist ?

Snooki3: Jaime Burton my personal tattoo artist

Dolly: like I said and even  for me personally everyone, needs a canvas to express themselves but, why your body?.

Snooki3:Because I love the way needles feel on my skin ; It gives me an adrenaline rush and then a really cool pictures comes out.

Dolly: Now being that you have so many I know you have had people either do say some crazy thing to you what is the craziest or coolest experience you had going out.

Snooki3:I never really had a crazy experience or question but, usually people just stop and tell me how much they love them are how pretty I am or try to touch my skin. There are times when guys ask are you tattooed there?…. but, other than that the only experience I had recently that was cool was I had went shopping in H&M ;I was in line to check and it was this mother daughter in front of me .  I had to say the little girl was about maybe 4 and she said “Mommy look that girl looks like my coloring book” lol the mother was embarrassed but to me I was fine I thought it was so cute.

Dolly: As the new generations come up the young woman is perceived as so many different un positive things what positivity or words of wisdom do you want to leave for the little ladies behind you ?..

Snooki3: As young Black woman in society were labeled as “Hood rats ” or “The Video Girl” forget society be yourself ,happy and especially out of the box!

Dolly: Do you have any up and coming projects ?..

Snooki3: Up and coming projects hmm… finishing my left arm , right leg and back I’m working right now to get some stuff done with “Urban Ink” and I’m in the process of doing a shoot for “B.I.N.K” Beauties with Ink.

Well, I just want to thank you so much for this interview, it was really special to catch up with you ,hear your progress and it also allowed to know a little more about my sister ! . Dissappearing Acts

 

Ever since I been back , I wrote a couple of stories and then all of a sudden disappeared again ! I think  it happened  trying to really find my place on this round ass sphere we call

“Earth”….

 We wake up every morning some of us saying “Damn here we go again” …. and then there are those who wake actually wake to take another stepping up the latter. I myself personally work in a field I don’t particularly care for because I’m just trying to get down the street. I honestly love teaching and writing ;

The many crafts and pieces I like to work on I haven’t been able to but, taking pictures have seem to be an out let or substitute for painting and writing for right now . The situation has gotten to a point where It’s no longer a
hobby but, a release for the many things that’s running through my head and I’m ok. SO! with that being said I think I going to add a picture section to the blog. I’m pretty sure besides the interviews and cool stories you will dig it. Theres a quote that I had wrote on FB

 

“My life  literally is a Camera. I love to be able to catch a memory, a moment and relive the Feeling in that shot ,God is the same way and through all of my moments I know he is watching me! SO!. have u used your camera lately….?”

 and I really believe in that …. we should be able to capture memories like shots from a camera and keep them close t us always … and now I have found some more of my self !

Every now and then I have these random moments were I go on person tanjents…..I usually plan ahead but, yet still have fun or I try to do my research and find out everything . Yesterday my plan was to look for a new job and go print off applications ….. Instead I went to the village and got a tattoo ! Yes I know it was pretty reckless and random but, isnt life-like that anyway ?….

I went to the tattoo shop “Village Diva” and the young man who did my tattoo was “Dylan” sweet kid from Trinidad and funny too. Dylan helped me with my concept and how it looked  at first I was going do all this wild lavish stuff but , Honestly they were super high for no reason so I had to lower my dream a little bit lol .

As he started I was like “Dolly your really going to do this by yourself ” ?…. I was type scared and excited than depressed and emotional all at the same time, you see I got the tattoo as a personal reminder . The reminder is “So what if the world doesn’t love You;

You love you and that’s all that matters”. The  cool thing about it as well was Dylan’s boss “Mikey” spoke Arabic fluently so the grammar and characters are perfect.

The Phrase is “I will love you forever because forever never ends ” after all the stuff I been through between last year and the beginning of this year my heart needed a little healing . I’m sorry I can’t be on my “Pray ,Eat,Love ” shit and travel the world. I’m not balling like that but, this was just fine. I dealt with a lot of demons and unhealthy thoughts yesterday and so now I’m just trying to be back on the right path. I feel that the tattoo was very appropriate for the season and now every time I looked down I remind myself I will be ok.

I love it ! The colors are my favorite and it’s really bright so I can never miss it. Then if you look at it closely it’s a simple flower of love that I handed to myself , simply beautiful .

SO, if you happen to see this arm in the street …. don’t be afraid to say “Hi Dolly”  for 9 times out of 10 it will be on a local train near you lmao!!

The Cassette Finally Broke

I played it over and over …. Each day I pa, pa, play .

I thought if I slowed it down; rewind it and played it less;

it would stay
But, all it did was lessen the track and steal its strength away.

Both pieces were us and together we had an endless song …. But, I messed around too much and too much is always wrong;

or is it never enough?…

When it finally snapped all I could do is cry ;

I’m no longer listening, I knew one day it would die….. no more leaving the world because reality finally struck, no more bubbles it’s sad I’m stuck. I used to be “Stuck on Replay” and no longer “Side B” for the “Bubbles” have popped and now I’m on empty.
Friendship is what we have left and yeah its cool, looking at these 3 rings you gave me and asking are we really through ?… Through the fire I’m always burning wishing for something different and praying for change;

I’m now labeled “Home Wrecker” but your life remains the same.

On our last night we shared two glasses and an endless promise not to forget, you will never leave my poems…. and I’ll never forget the words you spit….

Finally…. passion ,promise and skin hit after hit . I’m sorry I wasn’t sooner and from your mind I split. You don’t want to be “The Bad Guy” and I don’t want to be last on your list.

As I lay my head down the plastic started to melt;

finally split in two I wonder if this is how he felt?…

Its morning waking up in your arms feeling your kisses as I sleep ;

Feeling the kisses no more the track can finally weep…. people getting mad at me because “I creep” ;

Laughing inside of memories laying feet to feet….

Giggling inside of our adventures and dialog week to week.

Yes your still my “Angel” and to you I will always “POP” the memories of “Union Square” and the first kiss I gave you at “Santos” will never stop; I know why the “Tin Man” has no heart because its stuck with me;

smiling about the days when we were reckless and carefree.

Yes the cassette is broken I see the end and plea … maybe if I stay it might come back to me ?….  but, this is wishful thinking and all good things come to an end ;

See now I have no heart and no one to help it mend. I love you were my last words to one who has to be my friend …

The Cassette is finally broken…. crying because I can no longer rewind and longer pretend.

Beach Day Sunday : Orchard Beach!

Ok , ok , ok….  SO!

I haven’t been to beach in a long time ; Sue me!…

lol but, I must say the day I went back was so refreshing I had to write about it. First let me say the day it self couldn’t be any prettier. The heat was hot, the travel was quick and the destination was beautiful …… not to mention our outfits were dope! lol

The canadate’s for the day was my sister from another mister @Honeybeeznberry aka Beez and I@Dollyalways aka Dolly

We hopped on the “Pelham 6 “around 11, would have been earlier but, I had ran into so good trouble the night before SO! I was a little late , look that’s besides the point lol but, before we left ….

“Out Fits”

I haven’t worn acid washed “Pumm Pumm” shorts in ages lol. I try to keep all the fun stuff for places where it can be appreciated say maybe N.Y. ! lol anyway we finally get there and the sky is limit less!. Every thing and everybody was happy the children were full of life ,families were one and I never seen so many little snail collectors(Kids) in my life .

As the day went on we decided to finally eat

and then take naps  and may I say they were well needed when I looked over to my left Beez was on her “Man down” s**t real hard. The breeze was good and water felt great ,the only thing that tripped me out was the sun!. The  Sun wouldn’t stay out to save it life but, it didn’t stop everyone from having a good time or people from trying to get “Cancer” lol
